Therapy…My Way. Beads, Cupcakes, and Ice Cream!
Yesterday and today I just played.
Yesterday I dug out a bunch of beads and such I have had foreeeeever and made some meditaion beads. I really enjoyed that. Maybe I’ll get some pics later and post them.

Cupcakes and Ice Cream. Oh, My!
Today I am some reason obsessed with cupcakes and neapolitan ice cream. Not eating them just drawing them and incorporating ideas into things. Though…I am really contemplating going to the store and getting some ice cream. Neapolitan of course!
I think there is something trying to come to the surface for my business or something. I have no clue. I’m just going to have fun with it.
There seems to be some reason I’m drawn to the colors – pink, brown, and cream. I noticed it starting around April. I never really was a pink kinda person. Especially pink and brown together. Now I own some clothes that are those colors. Go figure. I’m sure the reasons will all come out when they want to.
It’s odd the way we are attracted to new colors at certain stages of our life and the ones we held true and dear for so long just vanish from our wardrobes and other places those colors used to exist.
For the longest time, going way back up until about …yeah..Apirl, I loved the combo of black and red. Now it just doesn’t seem to fit. Actually has an ick feeling to it.
Who knows. Maybe I’m finally softenin’ up in my age. Now that I think about it…brown is lighter than black and pink is lighter than red. hmm. Interesting.
Anywho, I’m just spending some days trying to relax, stay positive and happy.
The 3 Second Rule
I have even implemented a 3 second irritation rule. Something starts to set me off I have 3 seconds to express how I feel. If I can’t do it in that amount of time, it’s not worth getting upset about.
The 3 second rule came from training horses. You basically have 3 seconds to make a correction, after that there is no connection between what they did wrong and why you’re correcting them. We use the same principle for working with our dogs. I figured I’d try the concept on myself.
I learned today there’s an awful lot of swearwords you can get out in 3 seconds.
But, instead of mulling over what pissed me off, that was it. That was all the time I got, and it has really helped.
Well, I’m off to go play some more to the store.
